Well getting on the airplane for Germany was half the battle. But thanks to my mom and dad we did it! My dad helped me shuttle the luggage up to the ticket counter while my mom held on to the girls. Next big feat was getting through secutity, that I had to do all by myself. With three little ones in tow security personanell moved me to almost the front of the line. And the girls were very helpful in getting all our bags onto the conveyer belt to go through the x-ray. The most challenging part was taking a sleeping baby out of the car seat/stroller and getting both of those on to the belt and then once again putting everything back together with shoes on the right feet. Once this was done we made our way to the gate, made a quick potty break, and boarded the plane. Ahhh, I could finally take a minute to breath again.

The plane ride was actually the easy part. Linzie and Samantha watched a movie, colored some (thanks to grandma's wonderful christmas presents for the plane!) and slept some. And Miss Isabelle slept and ate. Linzie and Sammie's eyes lit up with excitement when we took off. It was so cute to watch them. Isabelle was startled by the roaring of the engines and then her eyes rolled back in her head and she fell asleep. It wasn't the most comfortable ride but we made it work and we were very happy to finally be reunited with Nathan in Germany.

Less then a week to go . . .

Nathan has now been in Germany for almost 3 wks! He is currently living in the barracks. His room looks like an old office from the 70's turned into a bedroom by putting a bed in it. Very cold and dull, poor guy.
Me and the girls are very anxious to join him. It will be an interesting transition moving the week of Christmas. On top of that, we move into our apt. until Wed. the 23rd the day that the grocery store on base is closed. Can you believe that, every Wednesday the grocery store is closed?! And then the next day is Christmas Eve. It looks like frozen lasagna for dinner that night. But at least we'll all be together.
We will keep you posted on our move and all the different places visit! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
